Integrate is a Community Chaplaincy providing a bridge between prison and community. It is based in Aberdeen and the Community Chaplain is Caroline Crombie, who can be contacted on 01224 625487

Caroline says:

"Our mission is to relieve the needs of those in Scotland who have experienced disadvantage as a result of their offending behaviour by providing support, information and advocacy, as a practical outworking of the Christian faith."

"The concept of community chaplaincy is based on the understanding that intensive befriending and mentoring of offenders, by the community chaplain and volunteers, can lead to a quantifiable reduction in the rate of re-offending behaviour."

"We are passionate about providing offenders with a positive support network as they seek to break away from a life of crime.  This support can start within the prison as they prepare for release and continue as they return to society."
